About FreshGuard

We're building tools to help data teams sleep better at night.

Our Mission

Data pipelines fail silently. Tables go stale. Schema changes break downstream systems. And often, the first person to notice is an angry stakeholder wondering why their dashboard is showing yesterday's data.

We started FreshGuard because we've lived this pain. As data engineers, we spent too many hours debugging issues that should have been caught automatically. We built monitoring systems from scratch, cobbled together alerting workflows, and still things slipped through.

FreshGuard exists to solve this problem once and for all. We monitor your data pipelines so you don't have to. When something goes wrong, you'll know about it before anyone else does.

What We Believe

Simplicity First

Data observability shouldn't require a PhD. We build tools that are powerful enough for complex use cases but simple enough to set up in minutes.

Your Data, Your Control

We access only the metadata we need to monitor freshness. We never read your actual data, and we give you full control over what we can see.

Proactive, Not Reactive

The best incident is the one you prevent. We focus on catching issues before they impact your stakeholders, not just after the fact.

Built for Teams

Data quality is a team sport. FreshGuard is designed for collaboration, with workspaces, roles, and shared alert configurations.

Built on Open Source

The core monitoring engine that powers FreshGuard is open source. We believe in transparency and giving back to the community that makes our work possible.
